    The committee comprises of the Principal, Heads of Departments and resource person from reputed University who translates the policy decisions of the management into implementable activities and follows up with their execution.

    Functions and Responsibilities

    The Academic & Advisory Committee consistently focuses on open communication, best practices; academic quality, lapses and overall objectives of learning outcomes of educational programs in the institution. Apart from these, the following functions are also being carried out by the Committee:

    • Reviewing the program learning and teaching aspects.
    • Monitoring the annual academic process.
    • Monitoring the provision and analysis of course information and conduct evaluation through questionnaires and feedback in a semester.
    • To advise the Chairperson and the Vice Chairman on all areas of academic matters.
    • To suggest improvements in academic programs.
    • To suggest measures for improvement of library, workshops and other training facilities.
    • To organize seminars/ workshops, short – term courses etc. for academic development.
    • Any other function as may be entrusted by Governing body from time to time.

  • ANTI RAGGING COMMITTEE (ARC)

    Anti Ragging Committee is established in the institution to provide a conducive learning environment in the campus for all the students without any trouble and fear irrespective of the year and branch of study.

    Management assures to all the stake holders that the campus will be ragging free and students are counseled periodically to concentrate more on capacity building and become responsible citizens of the Nation.

    Functions of the Committee

    • Paste the posters published by the University and AICTE in all the public area of the campus. Bring the awareness among the students about the consequences of the ragging in the campus.
    • To uphold and comply with the directions of the Hon’ble supreme court and be vigilant on any acts amounting to ragging.
    • To publicize to all students and prevalent directives and the actions that can be taken against those indulging in ragging.
    • To consider the complaints received from the students and conduct enquiry and submit report to the Director along with punishment recommended for the offenders.
    • Anti-ragging committees/squads to make surprise visits and takes effective steps to prevent ragging.
    • Oversee the procedure of obtaining undertaking from the students in accordance with the provisions. Conduct workshops against ragging menace and orient the students.
    • To provide students the information pertaining to contact address and telephone numbers of the person (s) identified to receive complaints/distress calls.
    • To offer services of counseling and create awareness to thestudents.
    • To take all necessary measures for prevention of ragging inside the campus/Hostels.
    • The committee shall monitor the functioning of the vigilance committee and vigilance anti-ragging squad.

  • ANTI-SEXUAL HARASSMENT AND ERADICATION CELL

    A separate cell is established in the institution to provide all the necessary support.

    Functions of the Anti-Sexual Harassment and Eradication cell

    • To organize meetings for women and sensitize them on security measures and on their conduct and behavior, so as to avoid untoward incidents.
    • To ensure that the women students concentrate more on their studies than on other permissive activities.
    • To ensure that the women students dress appropriately and talk, walk, and behave modestly including body language in order to avoid focused attention.
    • To keep a women mentor (who is an awakened female student) in each class to guide others on proper lines and to bring sensitive matters to the notice of the Committee, if any, for taking further follow up action.
    • To counsel the women students by giving guidelines and tips to handle any awkward, embarrassing and sensitive situations, including ragging, teasing, harassing etc. intelligently and cleverly instead of becoming a victim of such situations.
    • To organize any other programs or activities as deemed appropriate to empower the women students so as to enable them to realize their goals and aspirations in life.

    The institute has a grievance redressal mechanism where the grievances of students, faculty and parents are eventually taken care by department HOD/referred to respective committees and further taken to the Principal Office as shown in table.

    Objective:

    • To provide an avenue for the aggrieved students to redress their individual grievances in order to have a healthy atmosphere among students, staff and management in the Institute.
    • To comply with the AICTE Regulations to provide for establishment of Grievance Redressal Committee in each Institute approved by AICTE.

    Responsibilities:

    • Committee members meet once a month to discuss and resolve the grievances, if any.
    • To maintain the minutes of the meetings and submit the copy of the same to the Principal.
    • To convey the decision of the committee to the aggrieved students in writing by the Chairman of the Committee.
  • WOMEN EMPOWERMENT COMMITTEE

    The College has established a Women Empowerment Cell in the college campus to empower girl students, to enhance understanding of issues related to women and to make the college campus a safe place for women students. With a view to taking up women’s issues and problems, the cell aims at creating awareness of their rights and duties. It also provides a platform for women to share their experiences and views regarding their status in the society and to suggest ways to improve and empower themselves.

    OBJECTIVE / FUNCTIONS

    • Identification of strong leader ship and change makers and building their capacity.
    • To promote a culture of respect and equality for female gender.
    • The provision of opportunities and programs for female gender to be financially, mentally and emotionally empowered so as to promote their growth as individuals in their own right.
    • To make them aware about the guidelines of Supreme Court and to ensure that sexual harassment is treated as an unacceptable social behaviour within the institution and the society.
    • To conduct seminar, workshop to impart knowledge of opportunities and tools available and train the women.
    • To help the self-help group women to get financial support by identifying the sources.
    • To inculcate entrepreneurial attitude among young girls at the earliest so that they can be “job givers” rather than “job takers”.
    • To promote gender sensitivity in the college and conduct diverse programmes to educate, sensitize both male and female members and produce harmonious atmosphere in the campus.

  • LIBRARY ADVISORY COMMITTEE

    Library is a vital resource for learning where lot of information is available for students and faculty to access. A library is an indispensable unit of any education institute. It is very essential that a library should have volumes and information bank which would enhance the knowledge for the user. In order to ensure good learning resources in the library a Central Library Advisory Committee is established in the college. This committee will provide information about the literature and the books which are needed to be procured for the library which will be useful for the student and faculty.

    Functions of the Library Committee

    • To obtain the list of books required by each Department in the order of priority and submit the proposals to the Principal for sanction of funds.
    • To identify important magazines, periodicals, journals required in consultation with the departments and submit proposals to the Principal for sanction of funds.
    • To ensure that the students with identity cards alone are permitted to enter the library.
    • To ensure that only two books are issued to each student for study for a week and that the same books are not issued to the same student repeatedly depriving other students.
    • To sensitize the students to handle the books neatly and not to tear or cut the pages.
    • To impose penalty if books are not returned in time.
    • To sensitize the students to maintain absolute silence in the library.
    • To identify the students not availing the library facility regularly and counsel them on the need to make use of the books.
    • To sensitize the students on what to read and how to read.
    • To install CC TV cameras in the library.
    • To instruct the Librarian on proper maintenance and categorization of books, subject wise and genre wise, and index them systematically for easy accessibility.
    • To ensure that stock verification is done once in a semester/year by the Committee constituted for the purpose by the principal.
    • To maintain a separate Digital Library section with good number of computer systems and digital volumes/Journals useful for the readers.
    • Periodically monitor the Library information management system for traceability of books and journals in the specified racks.

    Research is the back bone of any academic institution. Research and Development is very essential for innovative experimentation of the knowledge acquired from the books. The growth of the academic institution is measured by the research oriented faculties that are working in the institution.

    Faculty and students are motivated to write and publish research articles in various International and National journals. R&D cell also encourages the faculty and students to participate in various International/National conferences, workshops, and seminars etc.,

    Functions of the R&D Cell

    • Identify the new and emerging areas in engineering research and motivate faculty and students carry out research in those areas and help them to identify the funding agencies that support their research/projects.
    • A research and development cell is responsible for innovations in technical and managerial pedagogies. This R & D is creating innovative application of ideas to keep institute a step ahead in the competition. Many institutes are also relying on the R&D cell to explore new ways of professional education.
    • Interact with prominent research institutes and industry for collaborative research projects.
    • Institute is thriving to succeed by creating quality education as well as by increasing institute’s credibility through cost-efficient methods. In this process our research and development cell is primarily responsible for ensuring that these activities are met.
    • Research and development works closely with the interdisciplinary approach which is lined with latest trends by surveying and researching student’s demands, imparting modern methods and the existence of technology across the relevant social requirements.     Purchasing committee is described as the activity directed to securing the materials, supplies and equipment required in the operations of an organization. It has a long range objective of ensuring continuity of cost effective supplies of materials and services. PC operates within a framework determined by the management. It is a managerial activity that includes planning and policy activities covering a very wide range of related and complimentary activities such as: Follow up to ensure proper delivery Inspection of materials for quality and compliance with specifications, Development of proper systems and procedures to enable the purchase function to be carried out efficiently. For all PC meetings, the head of the organization should act Ensure deliveries of purchase materials are available to meet Training, Operational and Maintenance requirements and that equipment is delivered and services are performed as required and agreed to by user, buyer and supplier.

    Functions and Responsibilities

    Explore and capitalize on all legally permissible opportunities for cost reduction on purchase of materials.

    • Ensure suppliers adhere strictly to brand or make and test specifications of those materials and equipment received meet specified quality standards and all stated performance criteria.
    • Seek clarification from supplier’s/service providers where necessary.
    • To analyze quotations provided by the logistics department, and provide recommendation for approval.
    • To ensure all documentation is accurately completed.
    • The PC should also be assigned a role within the supplier pre-preprocessing process.

  • TRANSPORT COMMITTEE

    The institute is located in the suburbs of Hyderabad. A very good public transport commutation is available to the students to reach the institute. The college is running busses from the appropriate nodes near to the student’s residences which will play in time and ensure safe and timely reach to the college and reach home safely in time after the college hours.

    To maintain the time schedule and to ensure the bus facility available to the students and to make necessary arrangements in the event of breakdown of the buses the college has appointed a Transport committee which will address the commutation problems of the students.

    Functions of the Transport committee

    • To ensure that the driver of the buses reach the specified boarding points on time and reach the college in time, and leave the college on time and drop the students in time on the return journey.
    • To ensure that the drivers follow traffic rules and regulations strictly to avoid untoward incidents.
    • To ensure that the drivers attend to their duties in time.
    • To ensure that all the drivers wear the uniform while on duty.
    • To ensure that the drivers maintain the buses cleanly and in good and fit condition.
    • To ensure that the drivers drive the buses in such manner as to get maximum mileage and the same recorded in the log book.
    • To ensure that the drivers inform the Committee as and when repairs are required and seek proper prior permission for undertaking the repairs and enter the details of such repairs in the log books. To ensure that the drivers behave properly with the students.
    • To ensure that the bus in charges travel in their respective buses without fail to maintain discipline in the bus.
    • To ensure that the contact telephone members are visibly displayed in the bus and also informed to the parents through students.
    • To brief the drivers frequently about their duties and also to ensure proper maintenance of buses and behavior of the drivers and the students.
    • To ensure that the taxes and other payments in respect of buses o are paid in time.
